Discover the best events and make the most of your time in Newark. From sports to science and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

The Blind Boys of Alabama deliver the gift of joy whenever they take the stage. In this uplifting holiday show, the GRAMMY®-winning gospel legends perform Christmas classics and songs from their albums Go Tell It on the Mountain and Talkin' Christmas. You'll be singing and clapping along with the spirit of the season. "One of the greatest and most venerated gospel groups the world has ever known...an impeccable mix of polished blues, swinging soul and from-the-gut gospel." -NPR Part of NJPAC's Kwanzaa Festival

This holiday season, Carisa Hendrix stars as award-winning performer, charming socialite and cocktail enthusiast Lucy Darling in Lucy Darling of the Holidays - a whimsical winter variety show featuring her razor-sharp wit, unquestionable advice and yuletide wonders. Lucy is braving the chilly air to bring her signature charm and mischief from screen to stage. She?s trading her classic cocktail for a glass of eggnog in this pseudo-family-friendly matinee engagement... and even the naughty-listers are welcome. Lucy is accompanied on piano, ukulele and a burlap sack of other instruments by the delightfully eccentric, potentially secretly elvish, Mark Ettinger (musician, composer, disgraced reindeer breeder and renowned globe-trotting juggler with the legendary Flying Karamazov Brothers). This merry match's playful banter and effortless chemistry dazzles and enchants audiences all year round.
