Join us for a closing reception to celebrate ArtYard's spring exhibition, including In the Company of Still Life; Lora Webb Nichols: Photographs Made, Photographs Collected; Dennis Quillin and Christian Turner: One Wicked Mime, Artificial Insurance, a paranoid normal triptych, and The Deep, a participatory art project presented in collaboration with Mudtown Ceramics. Martin Sexton tours in support of the 25th anniversary of Live Wide Open, the critically acclaimed double vinyl live album. The show will include these fan-favorites as well as some new material and surprise covers. Sexton released his 10th studio album this year and is touring with what Rolling Stone calls his “soul-marinated voice,” acoustic guitar, and a suitcase full of heartfelt songs. The latest release (2020 Vision) is produced by three-time Grammy-nominee John Alagia with John Mayer guesting on guitar. Sexton’s stated mission continues to be unity through music with a commitment to sharing peace and harmony through song.
