From being a pioneer in 70s fusion to a crossover star in the 80s, Ritenour has also delved into Brazilian jazz and was a founding member of the smooth-jazz supergroup Fourplay. With 45 albums and 16 Grammy nominations, he has collaborated with music icons such as Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, and B.B. King. Ritenour's accolades include being named Alumnus of the Year at USC and being honored by Los Angeles' Jazz Society in 2019.
