History Events in New York

Some visit to relive the past and their journey to Woodstock, others come to experience what it was like for the first time. As you step inside the exhibit you hear the echo of 450,000 attendees chanting “no rain” and see the stories of those who were actually there. Through artifacts, films, music - and even a hippie bus - you will be inspired not only by what was the most prolific three-day festival in history, but by the ideals that still remain relevant today. Please see below the list of the following museum closure times: 12/4, 12/11, 12/12 | The Museum closes to the general public at 5:00 PM for an Event Gallery show. 12/6 & 12/18 | The Museum closes at 4:00 PM for a private event. 12/24 & 12/25 | Christmas Eve/Day: Open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM ONLY 12/31 | New Year's Eve: The Museum will be OPEN during the day until 5:00 PM.
