This class focuses on survival skills for worst-case personal protection scenarios. We will cover the nitty-gritty, down and dirty tactics you need to survive the most common attacks and threats to personal safety. You will learn about the psychology of various criminals, rapists, and attackers. You will also learn the soft skills of avoidance, escape, and evasion. When you can’t talk your way out and they won’t let you walk out – you must take them out! Wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes.
This class will examine the influence of trauma on behavior and offer strategies to promote a culture of care that is trauma informed. With a better understanding of trauma and its function in behavioral patterns you and your team can develop informed approaches to better serve those who have experienced trauma.
