This class will examine the influence of trauma on behavior and offer strategies to promote a culture of care that is trauma informed. With a better understanding of trauma and its function in behavioral patterns you and your team can develop informed approaches to better serve those who have experienced trauma.
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach how to help an adolescent who is experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
Valiant Activities Days is an event organized by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Scottsbluff, NE.
This course is a state-approved driver’s safety course for high school students ages 14 to 17. Students must complete 20 hours of classroom time, score 70% or higher on the final exam, and drive 5 hours with a driving test instructor, passing a driving test. Eligible students must obtain a valid learner’s permit. Students are only allowed to miss two classroom days and will have to complete homework and/or make up for the missed day. Makeup day to be determined. Students missing more than two classroom days will be dropped from the course, no refunds will be given.
This is an 18 hour driver's education course for individuals age 18 and up. The course consists of 12 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of driving instruction. Content includes traffic laws and regulations; road signs and markings; defensive driving techniques; vehicle maintenance and safety checks; in-car instruction with a certified driving instructor; parking, turning, and lane-change techniques; and highway and urban driving.
