Join the Poe Center for CATCH My Breath training. CATCH My Breath is a peer-reviewed, evidence-based youth vaping prevention program developed by The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health. The program provides up-to-date information to teachers, parents, and health professionals to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about the use of e-cigarettes, including JUUL devices. CATCH My Breath utilizes a peer-led teaching approach and meets National and State Health Education Standards.
Bring your own book and join others for an hour and a half of silent reading at the Oberlin Regional Library. The Silent Book Club is a BYOB - Bring Your Own Book. There is no pre-arranged reading list. We begin with an optional introduction and a brief mention of the titles we are reading. You are welcome to bring your own drink (non alcoholic), and anything you like to read with. Then we quietly read for the rest of the time.
