Join us at OBX Speed for 9 sessions of instructive training to become faster and more athletic. Workouts will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on the First Flight High School track. They will start at 8:00am and end at 9:15am. All athletes, male and female, from rising 6th graders through college, are welcome. Workouts will often include: Dynamic Warm-up, Form Running and Plyometrics, Timed sprints- recorded and ranked using Freelap Timing System, Video review of running form, Mobility exercises, Post-stretch. Coach Van Lunen holds a master's degree in physical education and has over 25 years of coaching experience. Training sessions are designed to improve stride rate, stride length, starts, sprinting efficiency, and push-off. These sessions are not ideal for distance runners. $97 fee is for all sessions. Returning athletes can receive a $20 refund (up to $60) for every new athlete they refer that signs up and pays full price.
