Interested in learning the basics of blacksmithing? This 3-hour course will teach you all about the fundamentals of moving and forging hot metal: working with an anvil, tongs, & hammers, practicing key techniques such as scrolling, drawing out, and twisting, & making projects such as an S hook, fire poker, and more! The class is capped at 8 people. Register for this great, hands-on blacksmithing event! No previous metalworking experience required. Minimum age requirements: Attendees must be at least 14 years of age. Cost includes all steel, fuel, and other supplies, time in the shop, and instruction. Must be covered from top to bottom (no open-toed shoes). No synthetic clothing. Small-group instruction.
