This course is for investigative professionals who work with children and families of abuse. Advanced Forensic Interview Training is designed to provide multiple opportunities for professionals to expand the scope of expertise surrounding their forensic interviewing practice. Topics have been selected based on requests from the field and will build upon the foundational knowledge and skills that learners have developed to this point. There are a limited number of online activities that need to be completed prior to the in-person CornerHouse training. These activities are intended to establish a shared foundation and allow learners to focus on the application of research- and practice-based knowledge and information during the in-person portion of the curriculum. All learners are requested to bring a forensic interview recording for review.
