Through sensory exploration and conversation, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for this versatile plant and the role it plays in sustainable farming. The workshop then moves into a guided, hands-on bug spray making experience, where you’ll create your own natural insect repellent using farm-grown lavender and simple, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. We’ll discuss why natural alternatives matter, how essential oils work, and how to use your finished product safely and effectively. This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to be both informative and relaxing—perfect for anyone curious about lavender, natural living, or life on the farm.

In this three-week class, we’ll knit cozy fingerless mitts flat and seam them together, giving you experience with shaping and finishing techniques that make your projects look polished and wearable. You’ll learn: Shaping with increases and decreases, Ribbing and other finishing techniques, Seaming flat pieces neatly, Tips and tricks to make your knitting smoother, even, and more confident. This class is designed for new knitters who want to build skill and confidence — and is open to anyone who knows the basics and wants to expand their knowledge with a quick, practical project. By the end of the course, you’ll have a finished pair of fingerless mitts and skills you can apply to future projects!
