Kids can create colorful patriotic pinwheels just in time for Memorial Day! Free, fun, and perfect for all ages. Join us for a fun and festive Memorial Day kids craft where creativity meets patriotism! Children of all ages are invited to make their very own red, white, and blue pinwheels—perfect for celebrating the holiday and honoring those who served. All supplies will be provided, and our volunteers will be on hand to help guide kids through the process. This is a great opportunity for families to spend time together while creating something meaningful and fun to take home. This event is free and open to all ages. Space may be limited, so be sure to arrive early and join in the fun!

Join the party and create your own custom beach glass wind chime May 26th at New Holland Brewing in Holland! Michigan is known for its beautiful lakes and large sandy dunes. Beach glass is created when turbulent waves combine with course sand to create a natural rock tumbling effect. The resulting product is a mixture of wonderfully polished glass and tumbled driftwood - both items we will be utilizing to create an eyecatching and ear pleasing wind chime that is the perfect addition to any Michigander's home.

Explore ways to prepare your garden in autumn for spring growth. Each participant will leave with some of the tulip bulbs varieties that we plant each year right here at Windmill Island Gardens!
