Find the best spirituality events and make the most of your time in Grand Rapids. From music to adventure and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

In this workshop we will learn about a very misunderstood and very powerful plant, sacred tobacco, also known as Mapacho. It's considered to be one of the oldest sacred plants and also one of the most widely used across different cultures. You will learn about its medicinal properties and how to work with it conscientiously. It is a different strain of plant than common tobacco - and you do not inhale this type of tobacco. We will also have the opportunity to experiment respectfully with another tobacco-based substance called hape (non-hallucinogenic, it simply clears out stagnant, dense and anxious energy quickly and is very helpful for meditation, which we will do together after). Indigenous communities use this very safe and legal substance regularly.
Join us for a full-day guided tour of three remarkable Catholic churches that tell the story of faith & devotion, includes mass & lunch.
Join us as we seek to answer these questions and many more. What am I? Who am I? Why am I here? Does God exist? What is the Bible?
Join us for a joyful seminar diving into spreading bountiful Gospel Seeds with some real talk and good company. Sponsored by DOXOLOGY. 'The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.' —St. Paul in 2 Corinthians 9:6. Join us for a Jesus Door-2-Door (JD2D) event where we will sow bountiful gospel seeds throughout the community. It’s ideal for laity from Adult to 6th Grade and for pastors, too. In JD2D you will learn some simple ways to share your faith with others and then we’ll immediately put our training into practice by canvassing, that is, going door to door, in some neighborhoods and sharing with them the good news of Jesus Christ. Throughout this event you will exercise godly courage, increase in your confidence of articulating your faith to others, while simultaneously learning valuable information about your closest neighbors.

Come explore your inner world and experience sound as medicine for your soul. Guiding you through this decadent evening of rest and recalibration is Geoffrey Lamden and Catherine Brown. Geoffrey has been working with sound and vibratory response for over 30 years. He is a sound therapist who has offered one-on-one sessions with clients since 2016. He uses singing bowls, tuning forks and the didgeridoo offering sonic massage, working with the nervous system and meridian points. Catherine is a Reiki Master and Akashic Records consultant who has a formal formation in shamanic healing and loves to play indigenous instruments from around the world that evoke the sounds of nature. She leads sacred medicine ceremonies in which sound is used greatly to guide individuals through their unique healing journey. With most sound baths, the sound is just around you, but here there will be times when sound is put directly on your body with previous consent for a more intimate and interactive therapeutic experience. Improvised yet personalized for each moment as it is happening, a wide range of instruments plus tools like tuning forks will be used. Bring a yoga mat, a couple of blankets, an eye mask or scarf to cover your eyes, a pillow - anything you need to make yourself as cozy as possible as you lie down to receive this sound work. Reserve your spot to curiously immerse yourself in the world of sound, exploring how it can take you to new places while simultaneously feeling like home.
