Join us for a Walking Book Club. We'll gather at the bookstore and then out into town. Following a specified route, we'll discuss a topic from the book with a walking partner. Along the way, we'll meet at designated spots to discuss the topics in a larger group, before setting out to the next location. The route is approximately 2.5 miles and will end back at the bookstore.
A bi-monthly non-fiction book club, created around topics of social justice, community, and hope. The Mushroom at the End of the World is the book for this session, exploring the possibility of life in capitalist ruins. Matsutake, the most valuable mushroom in the world, helps forests grow in human-disturbed areas and offers insights into life in ruins.
