Building upon foundational metalsmithing skills, you will elevate your existing skills to tackle more advanced projects. Starts May 20th (Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks). Class dates: Building upon foundational metalsmithing techniques, this class will elevate your existing skills and inspire you to tackle more advanced jewelry projects. We will cover bezel setting for faceted gemstones, saw piercing, soldering techniques, and finishing. Students will move through assigned projects, including a pair of sterling silver “diamond” earrings (or two pendants), but there will be plenty of room for design creativity. Be prepared to learn tips and tricks that will advance your jewelry making to the next level!
