History Events in Silver Spring

Special Feature: “Streamlined Trains” from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Using commentary and slides, David Vaughn will trace and illustrate the dramatic developments in 20th-century locomotive and passenger car designs, using examples of the works and rivalry between Raymond Loewy and Henry Dreyfus. In addition, Nicholas Bulgarino will cover the development and history of the Cincinnatian, the last streamliner the B&O created.
