A community-centered walk to deepen the conversation around Black maternal health and advance birth equity on the lower Eastern Shore. Join Oshun's Garden for our inaugural Black Maternal Health Walk & Stroll to kick off Black Maternal Health Week 2026. This community-centered walk is open to all in order to raise awareness about Black maternal health and the need to advance birth equity on Maryland's Eastern Shore. There will be a one mile walk followed by a mini community fair. The fair will consist of health and wellness vendors, food, music, giveaways, kids activities, and more. Under the Black Mamas Matter Alliance 2026 BMHW theme 'Rooted in Justice and Joy,' we are bringing the community together to move, connect, and celebrate.
Join the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) for an educational luncheon and networking opportunity designed to help local businesses. Delmarva Power’s energy efficiency programs and available financial incentives up to 80% of project costs. Average incentive of $12,000. $20,000. Eligible upgrades may include: Lighting and lighting controls, HVAC system replacements or improvements, Smart thermostats and specialized controls, Commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, Variable frequency drives, Other high-efficiency equipment. Admission limited to two people per business/organization.
UNA is planning our third Disc Golf Tournament scheduled for May 2, 2026 to raise funds to support individuals with disabilities.
