This is the prerequisite training course to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. Note: THIS IS A TWO DAY EVENT YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS. This is the classroom portion of the Engage Armament LLC Wear and Carry course which satisfies Maryland requirements. A certificate cannot be given to a student until they have completed the classroom and range portion of the course for a total of 16 hours. While this course will cover the basics of handguns, using a handgun, and Maryland firearm law, more focus will be placed on ballistics, firearm selection, carry considerations, vehicle considerations, and more advanced topics.
