Find the best art events and make the most of your time this month in Hagerstown. From art to parenting and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Barbara Ingram School for the Arts presents Hadestown Teen Edition, a specially adapted version of the Tony and Grammy award-winning musical. This adaptation, featuring the same book, music, and lyrics by Anaïs Mitchell, is tailored for young performers and presents the compelling intertwining myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. With a jazz-infused folk opera style, this production explores themes of love, industry, and hope, offering a unique and engaging experience for teen audiences.
Join us in this sweet workshop where we’ll be making these charming little cake boxes, perfect for holding trinkets and other small keepsakes. All materials provided and no experience needed! Sarah will walk you through all the steps & you’ll leave with a small trinket box that almost looks good enough to eat!
Join us for our first mug painting class! All materials will be provided including the mugs, paints, brushes, pallets, aprons, etc. All materials are included in the event ticket fee. These make for great gifts, or just for regular use around the house! The paint we are using is also food grade safe and dishwasher safe, and is made specifically for painting on glass and ceramics, so no need to worry about it fading or washing off. I hope to see you there!
Join us for another mosaic class! No experience required, all materials included in the $30 registration fee! Come make mosaic creations with us! These ceramic tiles can be used as coasters, stepping stones, or decorative centerpieces, depending on which template you’d like to use. All skill levels welcome.
Join us for our first tie dye making workshop! This one will be a fun one, for beginners and skilled creatives alike. Under Sarah’s guidance and with all materials provided, we will be making tie dye shirts that guests can take home and wear. Guests MUST bring their own white cotton shirts since I am not sure what size everyone wears. All other materials are provided. I hope to see you there!
Join us for another needle felting class! Guests will be able to create and take home their own needle felted animals. These little guys are great for decorations and gifts. All materials are included in the registration fee. Beginners are welcome and no experience is required. All guests will be instructed under Sarah’s guidance. This class is recommended for ages 16+ due to the sharp nature of the needles we are felting with in this craft workshop. I hope to see you there!
Join us for another Paint Your Pet Workshop. All materials are provided (paint, brushes, easel, canvas) and Sarah will provide instruction to help guide guests to making their own pet portrait. No experience required. Just bring yourself and a photo of your pet! We had a lot of fun at the last one, I hope to see you there!
Be the first to see the stunning regionally designed floral arrangements inspired by our collection!
Join us for another ceramic painting make and take, co-hosted by Christine Storms, friend and collaborator of Painting with a Purpose. Christine will be providing the ceramics and materials to paint them. The registration fee covers the cost of painting materials, aprons, pallets, and instruction, as well as going to support the studio. Guests must purchase their ceramics separately on the day of the event upon arrival. Christine has so many handcrafted ceramics available, she has something for everyone and they’re so reasonably priced. We had a blast at the last ceramics class we did, we hope to see you at this one as well!
