Celebrated group from Pittsburgh closes out their tour with us. Doors open at 6. Cocktail bar, coffee bar, kitchen open. Show starts about seven. Tickets $12 ahead or $15 at the door.
Straight ahead jazz from Hagerstown: piano, saxophone, drums, bass. Occasional guests. Live straight-ahead jazz; low light, cocktails, food, espresso, beer and wine; good times and public life. Riverknot Jazz, affectionately known as RK, joins us from Baltimore and Hagerstown to heat up the stage. Not to be missed, now in their fourth year, they are the heart and soul of jazz at Clatter. The band features brothers Zach Worthy on keys, Aaron Worthy on saxophone, band leader Tom Todaro on bass, and Todd Hocherl on drums. Sometimes they welcome guests. Their repertoire includes classics from bebop to cool jazz and more, including original compositions. You'll forget where you are, and then love where you are a little more.
Join us for a night of experimental, improvisational jazz. "Free Jazz" is a style; the event is not free of charge. Free jazz is an experimental, avant-garde jazz style that breaks traditional rules like fixed tempos, chord changes, and structures, prioritizing collective improvisation, raw emotion, and unique sounds. Join Todd, Byrne, and others as they take us on a journey. Doors open at six, with cocktails, kitchen, and espresso bar. Music starts at seven, until about nine. Come early and stay late.
