Renew your AHA Instructor certification. In order to renew your Instructor certification you will need to have taught or assisted at a minimum of 4 classes since your Instructor certification issue date. All Instructors will have a skill assessment to demonstrate their CPR/AED skills for adult, child and infant.
For successful completion, instructor candidates must: Have current AHA provider level card and be proficient in CPR/AED skills. For successful completion, instructor candidates must: Basic Life Support Instructor Essentials Online, Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online, Successfully complete the classroom Instructor Course and pass written test, Successfully be monitored teaching their first course within 6 months of completing the classroom Instructor Course, Instructor Course Includes: 2 year AHA Instructor certification, Heartsaver or BLS for Healthcare Providers 2020 Guidelines Instructor Manual.
