Kirtan, Sacred Songs. Music & Prayers to Open the Heart & Mind
Join local author and farmer Babette Wils for a reading from her new book Big Foot Builds a Small Straw Bale Studio. In her book, Wils tells the story of how Big Foot Food Forest, a 38-acre farm in Montague, built a straw bale studio using natural materials and earth-friendly methods. Learn how this small building came together step by step, and how creative thinking and teamwork helped make it possible. Come hear the story, ask questions, and get inspired by this local project focused on sustainability and community.

Welcome to our final MELT of the 2026 Series. Heart centered inclusive community exploration and celebration. This month we are excited to present Conor Willis's project Ghost Pipe. Ghost Pipe is the spirit-channeled experience of holistic psychotherapist and graduate professor of psychology and counseling Connor Wills. Ghost Pipe is meant to be more of a sound healing than a DJ set. Folks in attendance can expect to hear sampled vocal wisdom from indigenous leaders around the world, experts in trauma healing, and other reminders about self-love woven in over each track. Ghost Pipe sets tend to lean toward organic tribal beats from West Africa and South America with dubby drops peppered in, but are always 100% unplanned and improvised moment by moment based on the energy of those in attendance. Come experience music as a modality for healing. LUNARISON invites you into a dynamic movement practice that merges elements of yoga and dance with an improvisational soundscape of guitar, harmonium, handpan and vocals. Join yoga therapist Ari Heart, vocalist and musician Luna Bop, and loop artist Jason Abram for a therapeutic yoga practice set to live music. This freedom flow will follow a natural arch, moving from gentle to joyful to meditative, and will be blended with a backdrop of ethereal sounds and traditional yoga mantras.
