Curious about book arts? Stop by the The Museum of Printing Books Arts Open Studio the second Saturday of every month. In the studio you can: Show off a favorite piece of book art. Participate in open conversation with other book artists. Ask for advice on your latest project. Get creative with a new-to-you technique. Practice a tricky book making technique. Get inspired by other artist's work. Start a new project with one of the many book templates/kits available. Museum Staff and Volunteers are here to help you with your self-guided projects. Some of the many supplies and tools that are available: reference books, book cloth, end-papers, off cuts, waxed thread, guillotine paper cutter, board sheer, book press, and more. Drop-in as you wish between 10am and 4pm. Come back often to share your progress.
