2026 KATS Crop Scouting Clinic

Crop scouting workshop beneficial for new and experienced producers, agriculture interns as well as a great refresher for others. Sign-in begins at 8:00 am and the workshop will be from 8:30 am til 3:30 pm CT. Lunch will be provided. Topics will include: Scouting for corn and soybean diseases, Scouting for insect pests of corn and soybeans, Corn and soybean growth staging, Weed ID, Soil nutrients and their influence on crop growth. Credits- CCA : 6.5 CEUs, Pesticide Applicator: 3 CEUs for each Cat 1A, 10. This workshop will be held primarily in the field, please dress appropriately.
