Celebrate Earth Day with a hike at PAROC. ¡Vamos a Explorar! We’ll kick things off with a guided hike on the trail, giving participants a chance to get outside, enjoy nature, and connect with one another. In addition, PAROC will be offering a variety of hands-on activities designed to help individuals and families learn simple, practical ways to care for our environment while staying active and engaged. Whether you come for the fresh air, the learning opportunities, or the community connection, this is a great chance to explore, move, and celebrate our planet together. All ages and experience levels are welcome—just bring comfortable shoes and your sense of adventure!
Join us for a fun and interactive day at the David Traylor Zoo! We’ll start with a guided walk around the zoo to explore the exhibits together, followed by a special introduction to some of the animals where you’ll learn more about their care, habitats, and unique personalities. After the program, families are invited to stick around and enjoy the space—feel free to bring a picnic lunch and relax while continuing to explore the zoo at your own pace. It’s a great opportunity to learn, connect, and spend time outdoors together!
