Environment Events in Glen Ellyn

Learn the whole story about the beautiful Churchill Woods Forest Preserve while enjoying a hike by a river and through woods and prairie. We will gather in the parking lot just west of the McKee House for a brief orientation about the preserve's history. We will then hike down a hill to the river, then hike along a trail that takes us through oak woodlands and then a prairie. Is there a better way to celebrate the arrival of spring? This hike is 2 miles or less, and is modestly strenuous. The hike will be led by Forest Preserve Commissioner Jeff Gahris.
