No prior experience is needed, this is the perfect place to start! The class includes the complete Mahjong experience, with all equipment thoughtfully provided; premium tiles, racks, dice, NMJL cards, and instructional materials to support your learning. We’ll walk through the basics step by step, from understanding the tiles and the NMJL card to learning how a game flows.

This event is perfect for players with some mahjong experience who want to learn more about rules and strategy. Mahjong 102 is designed for players who understand the fundamentals of American Mahjong and are ready to build confidence, sharpen strategy, and increase speed at the table. This class is best suited for players who have completed an introductory American Mahjong lesson or have prior gameplay experience and feel comfortable with the flow of the game. All game materials will be provided for use during the lesson. Light appetizers and beverages will be available, and guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
