This open-mic competition invites anyone to share a 5-minute story on the theme of opposites attracting. Whether it's the contrast between your free-spirited artist friend and your straight-laced accountant, or the dynamic between an early riser and a night owl, the stories you'll hear are sure to be both entertaining and thought-provoking. Doors open at 6 PM, with the show starting at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale 3 weeks before the event, with limited tickets available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early to secure your seat and enjoy a night of captivating tales.
Join us for the Moth StorySLAM at Fitzgeralds for an evening of personal storytelling where the theme is Disasterpiece. This open-mic event invites participants to share a true, five-minute story about a failure that turned into a masterpiece. Whether it's a community coming together after a disaster, a setback that unexpectedly led to something positive, or a prank that resulted in reconciliation, your story could be the highlight of the night. Doors open at 6 PM, and the show starts at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale three weeks before the show date. Limited street parking is available, so consider rideshare, bicycle, or rickshaw. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales are final, and up to 10 tickets may be available at the door.
