Former DSO Concertmaster and current Chicago Lyric Opera violinist Eleanor Bartsch makes a highly anticipated return to perform one of the most beloved works in the American violin repertoire: Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto. Members of the Dubuque Symphony Youth Orchestra join the DSO in a special side-by-side performance of Jean Sibelius' Finlandia. From its brooding, windswept opening to its soaring climaxes and moments of hushed introspection, Sibelius' Symphony No. 1. paints an evocative soundscape - both intimate and epic - a perfect finish for a concert rooted in musical connection and powerful storytelling. - At 1pm prior to each Sunday Classics Concert, Intriligator gives a pre-concert lecture in the theater.

Glenn Leonard's Temptations Revue is a tribute to the original Temptations, featuring authentic former member Glenn Leonard, who served as their lead high tenor for nearly a decade and recorded 10 albums with the group. The Temps' rendition of 'Silent Night' is globally popular, showcasing Glenn's distinctive lead vocals. Glenn also collaborated with all original members during the 1982 Temptations Reunion Tour.
