CivicCon invites local employers and business leaders to a workshop with Seth Kaplan, a leading expert on fragile states. Kaplan’s work highlights the critical role that strong local institutions and social ties play in helping communities thrive. Businesses are central to this effort, often serving as anchors of economic opportunity, trusted gathering places and key partners in strengthening neighborhoods from the ground up. This small group workshop is designed as a shared learning experience. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the real challenges they are seeing in their workplaces and communities and explore practical strategies for building stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
