Guided hike through one of Colt Creek's cypress strands. Participate in a guided swamp walk and learn about why the Green Swamp and cypress domes/strands are so critically important to central Florida and to Colt Creek State Park. Experience the history of the logging industry in Colt Creek State Park, and enjoy a part of the park very few people see. This event is limited to a maximum of 20 people per time slot. Because of the lack of rainfall, this dome is completely dry for the first time in many years. You will experience the dome in a unique way and see things that are not normally visible.
