Connecting with Prescribed Fire Buggy Tour

Spark an appreciation for the unique role of prescribed fire in stewarding Florida’s landscape. There will be no live fire on this tour. Connecting with Conservation Weekends (CwC) introduces guests to TNC conservation priorities with a free monthly activity. This month’s tour focuses on Prescribed Fire. We will provide a behind the scenes look of what it takes to do prescribed fire and show examples of recently burned areas in comparison to areas where fire has been limited. We will also discuss reasons for the importance of this work at Tiger Creek, Florida and around the world. This is an introductory tour to prescribed fire.
