Encaustic Workshop with Shannon Mello: Learn and expand on encaustic basics. Experiment with encaustic paint, embed materials, shellac burn, and create layers to include oil paint and gold leafing. Students will walk away with a practice piece, a 6”x6” panel, and an 8”x8” cradled panel ready to hang. All supplies are included. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in, bring your own drink of choice and Shannon will supply some light snacks.
