What's On in Salida

Join Fúrias Del Ríos athletes for strength and mobility training designed for anyone who kayaks, rows, guides, or spends time on the river! This clinic is open to anyone 18 years and older who spends time on the river or wants to build strength and mobility for boating. While everyone is welcome, some workouts and skill demonstrations will focus on movements especially useful for women in whitewater—such as developing the strength needed to pull yourself back into a boat. Whether you're new to boating or a seasoned river runner, you'll gain practical training tips, hands-on coaching, and techniques to help you move better and stay strong on the river.

This event will take place April 21st at Salida Distillery from 9am to 11am. A panel of successful producer-business relationships will start off the event, sharing their story of collaboration. Following will be a 'speed dating' style round robin with a variety of local producers present. Everyone will have a chance to share their products and advice on how to integrate more local produce into your business!
