Learn how chocolate is made from bean to bar and how to taste chocolate properly while sampling single-origin chocolate. Next, we'll pair four different international and domestic wines with 2 chocolates each, all handcrafted at the The Chocolate Therapist and made specifically for pairing with wines (4 wines, 10 chocolates total). Families with Pre-K girls entering kindergarten are invited to attend a Girl Scouts Kindergarten Buddies event. Girls will enjoy age-appropriate activities while caregivers learn how Girl Scouts support girls as they grow.
This NPM certification course will cover a mix of woody, grasses and forbs native plants at both Hudson Gardens and South Platte Park! In this Native Plant Master 3-day certification course, we’ll discuss the reasons for and impact of the continued introduction of non-native species, various prairie zones found in the US, and possible reclamation or landscape use. This course will cover a mix of woody, grasses and forbes native plants and counts towards Native Plant Master Certification with a passing grade on week 3’s exam.
