Much like their sorrowful, purposeful melodies, the members of The Last Revel contain this thick thread of self, and of place, when it comes to the underlying trait in the sounds and scope of their intent, onstage and in the studio — survival mode. That sentiment of tenacity and passion lies at the heart of The Last Revel’s latest album, Gone for Good. Produced by Trampled by Turtles lead singer Dave Simonett, the record is a multilayered ode to the life of an artist, life on the road, and what it means to be a human being in uncertain times.

Girls Club is taking over for a full night of women-fronted bands. Featuring: Midriff, Limited Supply, & more artists to be announced soon! See you there.

" Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Americana/indie-folk outfit harkens to the trials, tribulations, and triumphs of what it means to pursue your dreams in real time. The foundation of which is conjured by a deep appreciation and genuine respect for the vast landscape and sometimes-harsh realities of what it means to emerge from the Midwest.

Jordana’s music has always possessed a unique sense of place. You can hear the stillness of a Kansas bedroom on her 2020 debut Classical Notions… Humid late night New York walks on her double EP Something To Say To You. There’s the kaleidoscopic otherworldliness of Summer’s Over, her collab release with TV Girl. The unmistakable sunshine of LA on 2024’s Lively Premonitions. But on her new semi self-titled project, Jordanaland, the 25-year-old songwriter has officially crafted a place all her own. “Jordanaland is definitely an escape from Americaland. It looks a lot like LA in the videos…for some reason. Weird,” muses Jordana. “But it’s wherever you want it to be, just close your eyes.” Recorded with her friends Charlie Kilgore & Julian Kaufman of offkilter pop group MICHELLE, the EP drops Jordana in her most brightly-colored surroundings yet. Mixed by a pair of Grammy Award winners in Olli Jacobs (Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, beabadoobee) & David Pizzimenti (Ella Mai, Ed Sheeren, Travis Scott), these songs soar with a sonic confidence that has previously only made occasional appearances in her discography. “Jordanaland is an oasis from the chaos, where tampons are free, everything is easy, and Luther Vandross is vice president,” Jordana says of the laundry list of defining characteristics she rattles off in the EP’s namesake.

Since Cory Wythe started the Marvel Years project over a decade ago, he’s been exploring the farthest reaches of solo electronic production. Taking inspiration from alternative masters like RJD2 and Pretty Lights, the Vermont-born and New York-based artist went from fiddling around on Garageband to conquering the world of electronic soul, playing major festivals and huge gigs on the same bill as the artists who inspired him. Wythe opened for Pretty Lights at Red Rocks all the way back in 2013, and he’s played the historic venue multiple times since in support of STS9 and ZHU while also landing slots at Camp Bisco, Hulaween, Electric Forest, and more. But for Wythe there is a musical apparatus that enthralls and defines him far more than any computer program. A sonic vehicle through which he can travel anywhere he wants to go. Whether he’s driving towards an escape from reality or going further within himself in search of growth and maturation. An instrument that has been a source of respite, joy, excitement, and insight since he was only 10 years old: the guitar. 'Guitar is my thing, straight up,' Wythe says. 'Guitar is a part of me at this point.' And in this coming phase of Marvel Years, listeners will get to explore that part of Wythe alongside him. He’s going deep. Making the music he’s always wanted to make. Giving his fans a true and honest reflection of who he is as an artist like never before. The inspirations of the new era are legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Gilmour, Santana, and John Mayer. Wythe won’t play guitar over his productions at his live show. Guitar will be his live show. On the record and on the stage his fingers will tap, bend, and strum out the raw talent he’s demonstrated for years. Except those years were that of youth, of self-discovery (discovery frequently predicated through the guitar). These are the years of self-assurance. Of unwavering confidence. Of white hot, six-string shredding. These are the Marvel Years, and it’s going to get loud.

Entering into the music scene from a giant cloud of smoke, Blunts & Blondes is taking the dubstep game by storm. Formally known as Michael Guard, he’s the life of the party whether he’s on the decks or in the mosh pit. His dynamic personality, style and unique talent is rocking the masses all over North America in the festival scene as well as in clubs. Blunts & Blondes isn’t just making it in the game, he’s trying to change the way it works. His sound and styles are the furthest thing from cookie cutter. He creates his own, unique vibe by blending all elements of bass music and even sprinkling in hip-hop and deep Rastafarian influences. One thing is for certain, this young smoker is only getting warmed up as he prepares to leave the entire dance scene in a total haze. You are destined to leave the show with a contact high that you won’t soon shake.
