Through hands-on exploration and storytelling, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the unique flora that calls the alpine tundra home.
Walk in the footsteps of the remarkable women who homesteaded, explored, and protected the Estes Valley and Rocky Mountain National Park. Join us for a half-day educational experience exploring the remarkable women who helped shape the history of Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding Estes Valley. Participants will travel through scenic landscapes to walk in the footsteps of pioneering women such as Isabella Bird, Anna Wolfrom Dove, Esther Burnell, and Bettie Willard. Through storytelling, discussion, and site visits, we will uncover the challenges and triumphs of the women who homesteaded, created art, and found inspiration in these mountains, illuminating their lasting impact on the cultural and natural legacy of the region.
