NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting Class is a 2-day class taught by NRA Certified Instructors. You will learn how to shoot shotguns at a moving target, safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, shotgun shell components, malfunctions, shooting fundamentals, care and cleaning of your shotgun. Students will receive the NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting textbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules card, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and an NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting certificate at successful completion of this course.
At SWAG - Strong Women and Guns at AVGC, you'll discover the power and confidence that comes with owning and using a gun.
Take your firearm skills Beyond those learned in NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting. NRA Basics class is required pre-requisite.
Qualify for your San Bernardino County Sherriff's INITIAL CCW 16 HOUR TRAINING COURSE.
This class includes all the gun cleaning supplies, safety supplies and will be an instructor directed, hands on experience for your firearm!
If your CA CCW will expire in the next 180 days, or your CCW has already expired, schedule your Range Date for your Requalification at AVGC. The rules have changed! EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND AN 8 HOUR IN PERSON CLASS WHICH INCLUDES A WRITTEN TEST AND A RANGE QUALIFICATION WITH EACH FIREARM.

THIS IS A LIVE FIRE COURSE! The CCW Prep Course is the 1st Tuesday of each Month. $25 per person. This is a live-fire course! CCW Prep Course is every 1st Tuesday of each Month. $25.00 per person *No walk in registration is allowed. You must Pre-register through Eventbrite. This class is to help you prepare for both the application process and the shooting portion of your CCW qualification. On the range you will shoot the same style target, B-27, that you will shoot for your San Bernardino County Range Qualification. The class includes both classroom and range time. There will be discussion on the fundamentals of shooting, as well as the legal responsibilities of concealed carry.
