Experience 142 years of not just naval history, but tree history, as we explore the "roots" of the various tree species on Mare Island. On Saturday, April 4th, we will meet for coffee, have an introductory talk, go on a tree tour, led by tree marketing expert, Sarah Gaskin of A Plus Tree LLC. (Limited to 40 guests). This is a family friendly tree tour around Alden Park. Learn about the different trees and species while you forage for materials. At the end of the tour you'll create leaf people from your stash and enjoy snacks!
