Environment Events in Thousand Oaks

A hands-on way to help grow native plants for restoration projects (maybe a little weeding & cleaning) while taking a few home for yourself! Join us in our native plant nursery for a morning-early afternoon of nursery work, helping us process cuttings, transplant seedlings, sow seed flats, weed, water, and fertilize over 50,000 plants being grown for local restoration purposes. For your minimum 2 hour commitment, you'll get a big thank you from us and our local restoration programs, and get to take home 3 of our plants to grow on your own. Get a few family or friends to register and join you! Free plant varieties will vary by season. All participants must register through Eventbrite for free plant tracking purposes. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
