Small hands. Big impact. Free family-friendly earth day beach cleanup in Sausalito, CA to celebrate Earth Day with the kiddos. Join us for a free, family-friendly beach cleanup at Sausalito Beach, a late afternoon of fresh air, good people, and doing something that matters for our community. Make Earth Day something that your kids remember! We'll kick things off with a short, engaging lesson for the kids on why keeping our oceans and the bay clean matters. Then we all get to work together, little hands and big hands, picking up trash and leaving the beach genuinely better than we found it. Little kids can help 'spot' the trash that their adults can pickup. We will provide 1 trash-picker-uper courtesy of our friends at Clean Mill Valley. We will also have lots of paper bags to collect our findings. Caregivers are responsible for their own children at all times. After we've done the best we can with the cleanup, we invite families to stay and build earth-day themed sand castles. It's part education, part action, part community, and 100% a morning worth showing up for!
