An invitation to explore our bodies as habitats — as rhythm, as breath, as living landscapes. A movement workshop devised by Sandrayati, inspired by her record, INHABIT, and facilitated by Carolyn Little & Teagan Rose. Guided by the instrumentals of INHABIT, this immersive movement experience traces the cycle of life through four phases: recall, release, arise, and INHABIT. You are invited to explore your relationship to inner cycles & seasons, and the elements of the natural world through guided movement and creative prompts. You will experience: a walking meditation to become present with the body and physical space, an intention setting circle, a guided movement meditation focusing on themes of the natural elements and phases (earth, water, fire, air / fall, winter, spring, summer / recall, release, arise, inhabit), a practice of creating your own simple repeatable movement phrase inspired by these elements and poetic prompts, and a closing reflection circle by candlelight. By the end of this experience, you will feel a deepened connection with your body and the natural elements, and will leave with simple practices you can return to in daily life to ignite creativity, rhythm, and rest. No dance or professional movement experience is necessary — just a willingness to feel, explore, and listen. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, and bring a water bottle. Everything else will be provided.
