Yoi Toki is back in San Jose, bringing a fusion of new and classic Future Funk sounds to the dancefloor! DJs Valentine (NYC) and Meikee Magnetic (SF) will be mixing the funkiest tracks, favorites, and fresh new releases. This event is perfect for fans of Vantage, Macross 82-99, Yung Bae, Desired, Moe Shop, Saint Pepsi, Engelwood, Night Tempo, Retro Disco & Funk sounds, City Pop, French House, and anime/retro aesthetics.



This interactive workshop is designed to give participants a chance to practice skills while learning the basics of Positive Discipline.

This season's Bare Roots are in. Come pot trees with us! No experience is necessary, just a willingness to work together! Care for the urban forest by potting trees with us! Volunteers 18 and older must submit a Volunteer Waiver and Release Form. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Volunteer Waiver and Release Form. Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to volunteer.
LIGHTEN UP! A Playful Introduction to the Art of Clowning is a course that offers a playful introduction to the art of clowning. All sessions will take place in person at the Center for Spiritual Living San José. No acting experience, public performance, or pressure to 'get it right' is required. Participants can expect gentle movement and playful exercises, improvisation and hilarity, use of simple props, puppets, and costume elements, and a relaxed, supportive environment. Opportunities to participate at their own comfort level are provided. All materials, including a workbook, puppets, and props, are provided. Participants may also bring simple costume elements or personal items that spark imagination.
Join us with Tim Anderson of Infinity Blade Concepts as we work through techniques and concepts fighting with the Khukuri knife. This class will explore the use of the Khukuri in combat as used by the Gurkha. You will learn fighting techniques as taught by Col Dwight McLemore in the Khukuri along with other training methodology and technique. Come see why this edged weapon is one of the most feared fighting weapons.
