Swing into Spring with Le Hot Club! Le Hot Club Swing Band presents an evening of classic gypsy jazz inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and the legendary Quintette du Hot Club de France. Known for their refined musicianship and deep command of the swing tradition, the ensemble brings elegance, vitality, and historical authenticity to this beloved jazz style. Musicians include Rick Fulkerson, Richard Loheyde, Jeremy Ginsberg and John Potter. Featuring intricate guitar interplay, rhythmic drive, and lyrical melodies, Le Hot Club Swing Band evokes the sound of 1930s Paris while infusing each performance with freshness and spontaneity. Their repertoire blends timeless swing standards with original arrangements, offering both sophistication and exuberance. Stellar Americana/Bluegrass Trio in Occidental. Tony Furtado is an evocative and soulful singer, a wide-ranging songwriter and a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist adept on banjo, cello-banjo, slide guitar and baritone ukulele who mixes and matches sounds and styles with the flair of a master chef. All of the music of America is in Tony’s music. The event may be moved indoors if cool weather is predicted.
