Bella Rayne is an 18-year old guitarist who is considered by many to be one of the hottest young, rising talents in the country.
Prepare for the kind of alchemy that occurs when you plant some Sierra Foothills jamgrass on New Orleans’ Frenchmen Street and smoke it at a Celtic festival.
Emerging from the mountains of Montana, Desperate Electric invites you to a universe where Marvin Gaye meets Daft Punk for cocktails. Seamlessly fusing the worlds of organic and electronic, their music is an unbridled expression of desire. Dubbed “Montana’s Hottest Power Disco Duo,” Desperate Electric brings the baby makers and the booty shakers to the party. Their supercharged sensuality invites the audience to join them in releasing all inhibition, surrendering to the music and letting the seduction of dance take the reins.
The Fern presents: Powerhouse Ladies. In celebration of Women’s History Month, three fearless female vocalists come together for a one-night-only concert in the round — sharing the stage, trading songs, and weaving their voices into a powerful, intimate musical conversation. Each artist normally fronts her own band, but for this special performance they’ll strip things down to acoustic arrangements, spotlighting raw songwriting, bold voices, and a wildly diverse range of styles — all under one roof at The Fern. Jessica Malone delivers gritty, soulful Americana with aching honesty. Rebecca Roudman of Dirty Cello brings untamed blues and rock energy. Cherisha Heart ignites the room with sensual, raw folk rock & roll. Opening the night is local acoustic indie folk favorite Bee Eigen. This is a celebration of variety, depth, and the unapologetic power of the female voice — shared, unfiltered, and unforgettable.
Community singing has been used in many cultures to gather, grieve, celebrate and experience life for centuries. Today, we come together to revive this tradition in the world we find ourselves in now with songs born from within our community. Katie will teach songs call and response in a circle un-amplified. This is a secular space focused on songs that nourish and support a sense of community, belonging, and self love. There will be rounds, songs with different parts, harmonies and unison with any and all voices embraced, celebrated and welcomed. No experience necessary
