A guided workshop for writers and filmmakers to capture and share personal or family experiences and history on the page or screen. Everyone has a story to tell. You do not need to be a writer or filmmaker already! Local author Jordan Rosenfeld and local filmmaker Robin Shepherd guide participants to creative self-expression in an era increasingly dominated by the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Drawing upon Jordan’s decades of experience as a novelist, essayist and writing craft instructor, and Robin’s narrative journalism and documentary film experience, this two-hour workshop will teach participants how to mine their own truths and history and voice to create compelling stories. Come prepared to write, share and explore storytelling techniques.
