Tonight at the Improv is a unique phone-free comedy show. Phones and smart devices will be secured in Yondr cases for the duration of the performance. Enjoy an uninterrupted experience with a two-item minimum purchase requirement in the showroom. Seating is general admission, with reserved seating available for groups. On Saturday, April 11th, WORK Presents Acid Night: DJ Pierre, Annika Wolfe, & Trovarsi [LIVE]! We look forward to welcoming American DJ, record producer, and musician from Chicago, Illinois who is known for pioneering not one, but two genres—acid house and wildpitch to the WORK Warehouse for a proper ACID NIGHT. On support, Annika Wolfe, a DJ, producer, label boss of Akela records and Trovarsi, Founder of Socal Synth Society! This is a SAFE SPACE to enjoy music & friendship. Anyone caught harassing, discriminating, disturbing others or breaking any of our policies shall be immediately removed & banned from all events. Ticket Policy: All sales are final. NO IN"S AND OUTS NO outside food & drinks allowed NO photos & videos are allowed. Create beautiful hollow glass ornaments by glass blowing using a gas torch and glass tubes. Add metal caps to make a hanging ornament. Try your skill at glass blowing using the same methods still practiced in Europe to make beautiful hollow glass ornaments. We will heat pre-formed glass cylinders, known as Glaskolben, on a gas torch and then blow them out to make hollow spheres. A selection of colored glass will be available to add to your cylinder to make a unique and colorful creation. Instruction will be provided on safety, how to heat and blow out the glass ornament, and methods for adding colored glass. You will also learn how to finish the top of the ornament and add a metal cap for hanging. The class fee includes supplies for creating 5 ornaments to take home at the end of class.
