Beginning collage techniques using textures and patterns — exploring imagery of world scenes and nature (ocean, safari, etc.). You will learn how to choose proper materials and different techniques for collaging with paper. Limited to 8 Participants. Skill levels: Beginner to Advanced.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through blending custom colors for sky, sea, and sand, while learning how to build depth, dimension, and subtle detail that brings your piece to life.
Create a hummingbird from wool. Bring a tiny work of art to life in this engaging needle-felting workshop! You’ll create a realistic or imaginative hanging hummingbird using soft wool fibers and specialized felting needles. Learn how to blend colors to achieve natural shading (or vibrant fantasy effects), build form and structure, and sculpt delicate features like wings, tail feathers, and that signature slender beak. You’ll also explore techniques for adding detail, dimension, and personality to your piece. Whether you prefer lifelike accuracy or a more whimsical design, this class guides you step-by-step while still leaving room for your own creative expression. Perfect for beginners and experienced fiber artists alike—no prior felting experience needed.
