Find the best music events and make the most of your time in Healdsburg. From music to comedy and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Los Angeles based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Omar Velasco blends his Jewish-American and Mexican heritage with influences from folk and soul legends. A seasoned performer who has toured with artists like Father John Misty and Jim James, Velasco’s music bridges diverse cultures and eras. Following a turbulent 2022 marked by profound personal loss, new fatherhood, and the dissolution of his band Amo Amo, he found renewal working with a fruit tree care company. This profound connection to nature inspired his deeply personal second LP, Like the Fruit Falls from the Tree (produced by Jonathan Wilson), which reflects on interconnectedness and the redemptive power of art.

Marcus Buser records his songs in his garage. Sometimes he’ll get his friends to play on it, but mostly he works alone. Long nights with guitars and synthesizers; crooning romantic memories and existential nonsense into melodies. Only the cat Dizzy judges him or really knows how many takes it took. When he can no longer hear the music, so he must return to the ocean and taste the source. But the music is always waiting if you're willing to listen.

At its heart, Cactus Lee embodies the spirit of Texas, merging the atmosphere of Austin’s nightlife with the gritty energy of a rural dancehall. Fronted by the productive Austin songwriter Kevin Dehan, the project is a tribute to traditional Texas country music, blended with the defiant edge of outlaw and outsider artists. Since starting in 2019, Dehan has developed a unique sound—simultaneously whimsical, atmospheric, and clever—that draws comparisons to legendary storytellers like John Prine and Tom T. Hall. Joe Kaplow opens the show!

Based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, TAE & The Neighborly is a musical collective that masterfully fuses soul, R&B, rock, and pop. Their sound is defined by energetic instrumentation and the distinct, powerful vocals of their frontwoman, TAE.

Enjoy free live music every Thursday upstairs at the Second Story. Doors open at 6PM, music starts at 7PM. No RSVP needed—seating is first come, first served, with entry based on capacity. Izzy Hagerup’s new album System, released under her Prewn moniker, feels uncompromising because it was never meant for public consumption—“a private journal made public.” Across nine arresting songs, she navigates depression with a mix of humor, self-reflection, and raw honesty, creating a push-and-pull that feels distinctly her own.

Matthew Logan Vasquez, best-known as the co-founder and frontman for shape-shifting heartland indie rockers Delta Spirit, delivers fiery and thought-provoking lyrics drawing from influences like Gordon Gano, Kurt Cobain, Neil Young, and Thom Yorke. His latest release, Frank’s Full Moon Saloon, features raw versions of songs spanning the band’s 20-year career.

Never Come Down was born from the vibrant if not occasionally overlooked music scene of Portland, Oregon. Much like the city that inspired them, they’re a smart, charming, off-beat amalgam of varied backgrounds and tastes. In today’s paradoxical world where honoring tradition is often pitted against exploration and innovation, the band confidently walks the line between the modern and the tried-and-true. They’ve gained a loyal following and continue to win over audiences everywhere from Reykjavik’s Iceland Airwaves to San Francisco’s acclaimed Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. They’ve gained the attention of industry veterans, and toured in support of notable acts such as Yonder Mountain String Band and The Travelin’ McCourys, among others. Never Come Down’s live performance never disappoints- with showmanship, originality, songwriting and musical prowess far beyond their years.

Maisy Owen, a Nashville native, has been surrounded by music and the art of songcraft just about all her life. Her unique sound, musical truth and stirring vocals inhabit Dark On A Sunny Day, her debut album, set for release by Tompkins Square on May 1, 2026. There’s more to her than crystalline acoustic picking, her darkly poetic songs stand out from the throng. The sparse, melancholic purity of “On My Way Down” and “Letters” and the surging folk-rock of the title track are a testament to her versatility.

Sam Weber is a Portland-based songwriter whose reputation precedes him. If you haven’t seen him in your town on one of his many extended tours, you might have seen his name on marquees beside Bahamas and Feist, or in liner notes as a songwriter on the next Madison Cunningham record. His songcraft is only rivaled by his musicianship, both of which are disciplined enough to stun and feel effortless. He’s well-practiced at his trade, touring solo or with an ensemble domestically and abroad since 2013. His relentless output — now counting seven full length records in his discography — has led to an examination of human existence, eternal in a fragmenting modern world. His latest LP, Shape Confused Cowboy Be You pushes the boundaries of what it means to be a songwriter in the 21st century. He is a Scorpio.

Knoxville, TN natives Sally Buice and Molly Rochelson, known as The Montvales, developed their signature harmonies busking in Market Square. Their music is described as the “feral outskirts of country music,” with descriptive, textured songs addressing themes from heartbreak to gentrification and abortion rights. They released their DIY debut album, *Heartbreak Summer Camp*, in 2020, followed by the more polished, full-band *Born Strangers*, produced by Mike Eli LoPinto (Chris Stapleton guitarist, Emily Nenni producer) at Tractor Shed Studio. *Born Strangers* was featured by outlets like Holler and American Songwriter. The duo has shared the stage with artists including James McMurtry and The Local Honeys. In 2025, they signed with Free Dirt Records, releasing the single “Loud and Clear.”

Born and raised in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, Grayson Jenkins grew up on a small goat and horse farm in the heart of coal country. A songwriter, storyteller, and traveler at heart, Jenkins writes with a curious eye for truth, drawing inspiration from conversations, hard moments, and the unexpected details of everyday life. His songs have earned a loyal following and the support of fellow artists like Pony Bradshaw, Vincent Neil Emerson, and Nicholas Jamerson, who have all taken him on the road in recent years. After more than a decade in Lexington, where he studied agriculture and worked for the University of Kentucky, Jenkins now spends much of his time traveling and touring, with over a quarter-million miles logged across the U.S., UK, and Canada while keeping Kentucky as his home base. Like fellow Kentuckians Sturgill Simpson and Keith Whitley, he’s carved out his own corner of country music through four independent albums, relentless touring, and festival appearances at Railbird Music Festival, Master Musicians Festival, and beyond. His music has also been featured by American Songwriter and The Bluegrass Situation. Rooted in Kentucky’s storytelling tradition, Jenkins writes songs shaped by travel, lived experience, and a search for truth—stories in which listeners might just find a little of their own.
Enjoy free live music every Thursday upstairs at the Second Story. Doors open at 6PM, music starts at 7PM. No RSVP needed—seating is first come, first served, with entry based on capacity. Memphis-based troubadours Amy LaVere and Will Sexton have spent 11 years as collaborators. LaVere’s "barbed and sharp" songwriting and upright bass provide a dark, charming contrast to her sweet soprano, while Sexton, a seasoned polymath and producer for icons like Al Green—adds virtuosic guitar and velvet vocals. Together, they are two of Americana’s finest craftsmen, delivering a spellbinding, incomparable live show.
