Volunteer your time with Grassroots Ecology and Peninsula Open Space Trust to help increase biodiversity in East Palo Alto! We will spend our time together maintaining our restoration areas, including weeding invasive plants, pruning native plants, and trash clean-up. Volunteers should expect to walk along flat ground on paved and unpaved surfaces, kneel or sit on kneeling pads, and use hand tools. This event will be tailored towards bringing together Seniors (65+) to care for Cooley Landing, but volunteers of all backgrounds and ages are welcome!
