In this workshop, participants will learn five introductory styles that are foundational for exploring more complicated paper engineering. We'll also add a 'wow' factor by using color to enhance the shapes and shadows formed by paper dimensionality! Beginners welcome. All materials provided.

Explore the mystery and magic that is traditional Turkish marbling, using a thickened bath and acrylic paint to create one of a kind prints. Using handmade tools, you will be taught to throw paint and create basic patterns. By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to recreate classic patterns and explore new shapes and patterns by floating your paint on the water bath.

Intro to the Heidelberg Windmill with Shino & Ken Carlson. Learn to operate a Heidelberg Windmill, a precise and powerful letterpress printing machine, from seasoned printers Shino and Ken. This workshop covers safety, make-ready, automatic feed, impression, inking, registration, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance. You'll leave with a set of 30 two-color thank you notecards.

Learn the basics of RISO printmaking with Jun Ha & Dave Bow. This hands-on workshop offers an introduction to Risograph printing, enabling artists and designers to create vibrant art prints, books, and zines using a distinctive printing process. Participants will learn to set up images, change color drums, print in layers, and register colors using the Museum's SF5130 single-drum Risograph duplicator. All materials provided.
